Transmission oils perform several crucial tasks. They provide the
required lubrication and heat transfer in the compartments to achieve
optimum performance. The following transmission oil schedules have been
derived. Scheduled oil analysis is the best way to maintain the balance
between the premature and reactive maintenance.
| Testing Levels |
| Level 1 |
Used
when there is no apparent concern due to contamination or wear. A basic
analysis that a serves as a useful tool to obtain an overall view of
the compartment. |
Level 2
|
When issues arise with the performance of the compartment and the oil. |
Level 3
|
This
level of testing gives you key performance indicators of the oil and
the compartment. Best suited for warranty purposes. This level of
testing will comply above and beyond any OEM's requirements. |
