Oilcheck Pty Ltd is an independent testing laboratory of petroleum products for the condition monitoring and oil analysis of all equipment.
We are accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) to ISO/IEC 17025 and maintain ISO9001 quality certification.
Oil analysis and condition-based monitoring has been provided by Oilcheck Pty Ltd since 1981. If you are a customer wanting to view your test results please log-in and follow the prompts.

Hydraulic Oils
Oilcheck has extensive experience in analysis of hydraulic and turbine fluids particularly for the mining and power generation industries. These include oil cleanliness and oxidation levels as well as additive concentrations using RULER (determines the remaining useful life of the lubricant) plus acidity, particle size analysis, acidity, solids content and membrane patch colour as an indicator of varnish potential.

Diesel and Petrol Engine Oils
Oilcheck has always tested fuel dilution in-service diesel and petrol engine oils using gas chromatography. This provides accuracy to 0.2 % of fuel in oil. This is more accurate than the traditional flashpoint/viscosity methodology. We always analyse engine oils at 100 degrees centigrade for compliance to SAE grades and soot content standardised on Thermogravimetric Analysis.

Refrigeration Oils
Oilcheck analyses for oil separator operation involving by determining how much gas has been retained in your refrigeration oil and the dryer core efficiency, by accurately determining the moisture content. We also test for acidity, viscosity for compliance to specification as well any wear that is occurring.

Our customised service includes on-line reporting, customer training and technical support.
Pre-paid oil analysis sample test-kit system
The Oilcheck service uses a pre-paid sample test-kit system which is sent to customers who return 125ml bottles filled with the petroleum product to be analysed.
They subsequently receive a test result in an on-line and/or hard copy format which rates, trends and explains the condition of the product.
We welcome your enquiry to discuss which tests would best meet your requirements, what this will cost, how long it will take and how to organise the analysis and report.
As with many clients, after an initial trial period we can then set up an ongoing service to support your condition monitoring and preventative maintenance system.
